Is it Spring Yet?

This is winter vacation for us and the weather has been very cold, Brr! I shouldn't complain it hasn't snowed since Monday. I'm sure you know that we've been hit with multiple snow storms since January,  and a good number of them have dropped more than a foot or more. Here's the only one who is still in love with the snow.

He loves it can't get enough. We on the other hand have been shoveling, fighting off ice dams, and discovering new leaks.

Here's Chab digging out. This has been a hard winter for a lot of us. 

Its not been a total loss I've managed to get a little sewing done.

A mug mat for the Brynwood Mug swap. My partner is into vintage things the floral fabric I found in an antique shop in Vermont. It reminds me of spring, the bunny I made a few years back and I found the vintage Easter card in a local thrift store. Its on its way to her as I write this post. What about you what've you been up to?

Finished Monkeys

Finished the Monkey Quilt for Baby Calvin. 

Spent yesterday quilting and managed to sew the binding on just in time to watch Rex and his Jets loose to the Steelers,  Yay!

No, I'm not a Steeler fan, my football heart belongs to the Pats

Just needs a label and a quick wash.

Happy New Year

Happy New Year  to All.  I've been missing in action for quite some time.  No reason really, was sick a good portion of November and then lost my sewing mojo for a while. I do have a few finishes under my belt. Made some Christmas presents but didn't take pictures.  Finally got caught up on the obligations over at "A Dozen Quilters," took pictures of those, so without further adieu ...
