Almost Done

I was very busy to day, not sewing but the necessary things you have to do to keep your house in reasonably running order. Ugh.. Clean !

Yesterday however, I worked on the baby quilt putting all the blocks together and adding the inner border. The fabric I'm using for the border makes me want to try mitering them. This will be my first attempt, so I think I do a mock up version first. I like the way this quilt is turning out and would hate to ruin it because I messed up on the outside borders. Should be finished with the top by tomorrow if all goes according to plan. =->

Your today was like my yesterday - getting all the boring stuff done!

I love the way the quilt is coming together. Those fabrics are just gorgeous. I've never tried mitered borders, either. Too scared haha. I should try it on something small just to see. It's probably much easier than it looks... ?

Have fun sewing tomorrow. I will be putting in a good effort to get my paper written!

Hi Patty. It's a pretty quilt. I'm cleaning today . . . having a baby shower for my new little nephew Brody. I may not get an apron done today. Maybe two tomorrrow?

Thank you for stopping by my blog and making a comment on my query. I am so glad I am not the only one who doesn't have to have perfect seams.
