What have I been Doing?

I'm still here, just can't believe it has been so long since I last blogged. So what have I been up to? A little bit of sewing, and quite a bit of yard work. Yesterday I pulled the two silcocks(out door faucets) off the house and had hoped to repair them myself, but when I went to get parts the guy at the plumbing supply store said he could do it I let him. But hey ,I took them off the house and put them back on all by myself.  I've been planting flowers, weeding, and tearing down a garden. I'm embarrassed to say that I let two of my garden get overgrown...
now it looks like this...
there are still a few things  I have to move but I'm unsure where they are going to go.
Next project....
this is going to be a project! First thing I had to do was get rid of the red ants, they bite!
I'll be tackling this mess tomorrow and hope to have it done by Friday. I'll be moving a few things but mostly it will be thinning weeds our and moving some lilies. I don't really know how this garden got so bad... just spent a lot of times running for soccer, taking classes other things. Still that's no excuse.
So stay tuned I'll show pictures of the finished product soon.  I'll also show pictures of my sewing soon.

Your garden looks great! Just remember that the 'english country garden' style requires lots of over grown-ness and a few weeds - just say you are aiming for that look! I do!

Looking great! I love your stone wall and steps! WOW! gorgeous! That's motivation right there! What a place to showcase some flowers!!!
Yes, I agree w/the English Garden theory also! :)
It's the cottage look! :)
I think you are amazing to do all that you do. I use to try to do it all, but can't anymore and sure do take the help when I can get it! Can you imagine living on an island and when something breaks, no stores? then if it's a big something having to barge it?!?! lol Trying to make you feel better... :)
